MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISING CHAIRMEN

We are delighted to invite you to the 8th Ministry of Health-Academy of Medicine of Malaysia Scientific Meeting, incorporating the 12th Scientific Meeting of the National Institutes of Health. This year’s event will be held at the Institute for Health Management, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, on the 17th – 18th August 2009. Please mark these dates in your calendars.

The theme for the meeting, "Building a Safety Culture through Accountability", will be devoted to the various aspects of patient safety. The scientific committee has wisely crafted an attractive programme to ensure that there is something for everyone which may help to improve your current practice or at least give you an alternative view. We are sure that the concepts and ideas exposed during this two days meeting will provide the necessary grounding to understand the advancements that have occurred. For this, we are truly honoured to have experts not only from Malaysia but also Singapore as part of the Faculty. We are confident the brilliantly selected speakers will be able to share their knowledge and wealth of experience in this important area with the audience.

Don't miss out on this great educational opportunity, re-establish contacts and networking with fellow colleagues. We eagerly await your participation.
